We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller, based in Seattle, Washington. This position will be 100% remote. The Controller will be responsible for supporting the Mexico controller and will be involved in creating reports and improving business processes. This is a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities:• Collaborate with business stakeholders to comprehend their requirements and construct reports in IFS or Power BI.• Work on recreating 20-25 core reports for Finance, Tax, Enterprise Asset Maintenance, and Procurement as part of their monthly package.• Utilize your skills in auditing and financial reporting to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial data.• Maintain a basic understanding of Mexico VAT and its impact on reports.• Handle data that is captured in IFS and relatively clean, some information is only available on Excel, some data extracted out of the terminal operating system.• Strive towards identifying opportunities for business improvement and automation.• Manage the complexity and time-consuming nature of post go-live reporting.• Be prepared to move on to other projects in Canada, Panama, and the US as they are experiencing similar challenges.
