As a Controller, your primary role involves managing all aspects of accounting and financial management, including regulatory compliance and team leadership. This role offers an exciting opportunity to exercise your skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.Responsibilities:• Guiding financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.• Protecting assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.• Monitoring and confirming financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.• Maximizing return and limiting risk on cash by minimizing bank balances and making investments.• Preparing budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.• Achieving budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.• Providing status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.• Complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions.• Maintaining detail oriented and technical knowledge
