The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a proven track record of success in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:· Financial Reporting & Analysis: o Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.o Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders.o Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and provide insightful commentary on financial performance.o Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process.· Accounting Operations: o Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.o Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards (GAAP).o Manage the audit process and liaise with external auditors.· Cost Accounting: o Develop and maintain standard costing systems.o Analyze product costs and identify areas for improvement.o Perform cost variance analysis and implement corrective actions.· Team Leadership: o Lead and mentor a team of two direct reports.o Develop and implement best practices for financial processes and procedures.· Strategic Planning & Analysis: o Provide financial and operational analysis to support strategic decision-making.o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.o Contribute to the development of company-wide financial goals and objectives.
