This position is on-site 5 days a week and located in Dover, NJ. The Controller will serve as a key financial leader within the organization, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting while supporting various business functions.

Position: Controller

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller with manufacturing experience to join our team and play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and fostering collaboration across departments. The Controller will serve as a key financial leader within the organization, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting while supporting various business functions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the full general ledger process, including analyzing and reconciling accounts for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts, including providing detailed monthly variance reports.
- Manage the annual audit process and work closely with external firms to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Supervise treasury functions, including cash flow management, and assist with annual insurance renewals.
- Monitor, enforce, and improve compliance with internal controls and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to address and resolve accounting-related issues.
- Take ownership of ad-hoc financial projects and other duties as needed.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Must have Manufacturing Industry experience.
- ERP system experience, with preference given to those with experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to shifting demands, priorities, and schedules while maintaining a positive outlook.
- Demonstrated accountability in meeting individual and team objectives.
- Proven professionalism in both internal interactions and external representation of the company.
