We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the hospitality sector, based in Dennis Port, Massachusetts, United States. The Controller will be chiefly responsible for leading the accounting team, refining financial policies, and overseeing financial operations specific to the hotel industry.Responsibilities:• Lead and develop a proficient accounting team.• Enhance financial policies, controls, and reporting systems that cater specifically to hospitality operations.• Manage the month-end closing process for hotel properties and holding entities.• Compile financial statements, variance analysis, and performance reports for the hospitality group.• Ensure accuracy and timely filing of monthly taxes (occupancy, meals & beverage, sales) and collaborate with the external accounting firm for year-end package.• Supervise payroll and approve related bank transfers.• Handle banking and cash flow, improve working capital, and assist in operational budgeting processes.• Supervise revenue recognition, cost management, and financial forecasting.• Work closely with the executive team and accounting team to provide financial analysis and direct financial decisions.• Actively participate in enhancing hospitality and accounting systems, integrations, and processes (PMS, POS, ERP).• Seek opportunities for automation, improved reporting, and operational efficiency.
Salary : $115,000 - $125,000
