Project Controller – Regional Real Estate Developer (Matawan Area)
A dynamic and rapidly expanding regional real estate developer in the Matawan area is seeking an experienced Project Controller to join their team. This newly created position comes because of the company's growth, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future success of the company.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate and construction finance. Preferably commercial, retail, or industrial ex
- A strong knowledge of Yardi or MRI.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, project cost analysis, CAM, and contract management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform budgeting and job cost analysis for all projects.
- Manage financial reporting and oversee loans for each project.
- Ensure timely payment to all sub-contractors.
- Monitor and track contracts and billings for each project.
- Prepare monthly financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist external auditors with the year-end audit process.
- Oversee the administration of change orders, lien waivers, and other essential documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate and construction finance.
- A CPA or MBA is highly preferred, along with prior experience at a CPA firm.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, project cost analysis, and contract management.
