As a Corporate Accountant, you will be expected to handle daily accounting transactions, work with accounting software systems and carry out robust account reconciliation tasks.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions and transactions
- Process gifts and private grants with utmost accuracy
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable (AP)
- Utilize accounting software systems for various tasks
- Perform auditing tasks as required
- Execute bank and account reconciliations diligently
- Employ accounting principles and procedures in all tasks
- Maintain a high level of proficiency with Excel for accounting operations
- Exhibit strong analytical skills in all financial matters.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Corporate Accountant role or similar
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
- Demonstrated ability to handle various Accounting Functions
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is essential
- Familiarity with Auditing procedures and practices
- Experience in Gift Processing within a non-profit context
- Knowledge of handling Private Grants is a plus
- Strong understanding of Accounting operations
- Proficiency in Accounting Principles is essential
- Familiarity with standard Accounting procedures
- Experience with Bank Reconciliations
- Proven skills in Account Reconciliation
