We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Credit and Collections role in the Machinery Manufacturing industry based in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. This role will focus on managing and evaluating our credit and collection processes, as well as maintaining accounts receivable for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the company's credit and collection processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy
- Manage credit preparation and evaluation, ensuring all actions align with company policies
- Monitor accounts receivable, taking appropriate action when necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer credit
- Utilize software like NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for managing and tracking customer accounts
- Handle customer inquiries, providing prompt and accurate responses
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records
- Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process
- Manage both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
- Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
- Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations
- Demonstrated experience with Bank Reconciliations
- Strong understanding of the General Ledger system
- Ability to prepare accurate Journal Entries
- Experience with Month End Close procedures
- Proficiency in using NetSuite for financial management
- Knowledge and experience in using Oracle for financial tasks
- Familiarity with QuickBooks for accounting purposes
- Experience in working with SAP for financial operations
- Industry experience in Machinery Manufacturing is desirable
- Prior experience in a Credit and Collections role is preferred
