Customer Service Manager – Logistics Industry
Our client in the Chambersburg, PA area is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Customer Service Manager to lead the customer service team and optimize day-to-day operations. If you have strong leadership skills, logistics expertise, and thrive in fast-paced environments, we want you on our team!
Responsibilities
As the Customer Service Manager, you will:
- Lead and Develop: Inspire and guide a team of customer service representatives to provide outstanding service and achieve team goals.
- Establish Standards: Design, implement, and enforce customer service policies and quality protocols.
- Resolve Issues: Address complex customer inquiries and complaints, delivering timely and effective resolutions.
- Optimize Operations: Supervise daily warehouse customer service operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely order processing.
- Utilize WMS Technology: Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to streamline workflows using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Drive Improvements: Analyze service metrics and identify opportunities for process enhancements to boost satisfaction and performance.
- Recruit and Mentor: Build and develop a skilled team by recruiting, training, and conducting regular evaluations.
- Coordinate Internally: Facilitate seamless communication among office, operations, and transportation teams.
- Manage Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 5 years of customer service management experience, ideally in logistics, supply chain or related industry.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment effectively.
