We are seeking a diligent Customer Service Representative to be part of our team in the Manufacturing industry, based in Ohio. The role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity where you will play a crucial role in processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. Responsibilities:• Accurately process customer credit applications with efficiency• Uphold detailed and current customer account information• Build customer relationships proactively via outbound check-in calls• Provide product technical information as required to respond to customer technical inquiries and suggest alternative materials or products• Maintain up-to-date product offering and lead time information• Provide current pricing information, as needed• Monitor orders through routine exception reports and intervene as necessary to ensure maximum customer satisfaction• Notify customers and sales representatives proactively of potential missed shipments and revised dates on customer orders• Investigate issues and prepare/process credit memos, debit memos, and return material authorizations to resolve customer issues in a timely manner• Enhance the customer experience proactively while also sharing relevant customer feedback to help improve our offerings• Evaluate customer support processes, devise improvements, and measure results.
