This role is hybrid onsite in Providence, RI. This role will not be a remote position, you must live near Providence, RI.
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Database Analyst in the insurance industry, specifically casualty insurance. This role involves significant data analysis work and will require proficiency in SQL, Excel, JCL, and IBM Mainframe.
Responsibilities:
Performing data analysis using SQL and Microsoft Excel
Understanding and working with mainframe JCL or COBOL
Processing and maintaining accurate customer credit records
Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action as needed
Efficiently handling customer credit applications
Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
Requirements
Candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in a related field.
Proficiency in Data Analysis is required for this position.
Must possess strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with SQL is a crucial requirement for this role.
Familiarity with JCL is expected.
Knowledge and experience with IBM Mainframe is a significant advantage.
