We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a meticulous Data Analyst in the healthcare and social assistance industry based in Park City, Utah. As a Data Analyst, you will be expected to manage and interpret data from various systems, maintain high data integrity, and communicate effectively with various teams.
Responsibilities :
- Organize and process data with high precision, using advanced Excel skills.
- Handle data from multiple systems, including QuickBooks and JIRA, with a strong focus on detail in data extraction and processing.
- Ensure data cleanliness and integrity, as the processed data may be reviewed by executive-level professionals.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with different departments, guiding them on task performance and monitoring their data for correctness.
- Advocate for adherence to specific data processing methods, encouraging team members to meet set standards.
- Participate in data correction tasks for ongoing jobs where data has been incorrectly filled out.
- Create and present data dashboards, incorporating analytics skills to provide meaningful insights.
- Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in creating interactive dashboards and reports to visualize data and support strategic decision making
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including creating complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in the healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance industry
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders and present data-driven insights in a clear and compelling manner
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices within the healthcare industry
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently when required
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically about data
- Relevant educational background such as a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
- Prior experience in a data analysis role within the healthcare industry would be highly regarded
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, demonstrating a sense of urgency and results orientation
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
