We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Data Engineer in OAKWOOD VILLAGE, Ohio. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing algorithms, developing APIs, and utilizing various technologies to analyze and visualize data. You will also play a crucial role in extracting, reporting, and warehousing data.

Responsibilities :

• Utilizing Apache Kafka, Apache Pig, and Apache Spark to process and analyze data
• Implementing and optimizing cloud technologies for data storage and analysis
• Creating and maintaining data visualizations using Microsoft Power BI and Excel
• Implementing algorithms for complex data analysis and processing
• Developing and maintaining analytics using Apache Hadoop and AWS technologies
• Extracting relevant data from various sources for analysis and reporting
• Developing and maintaining data lakes for efficient data storage and retrieval
• Reporting data in a clear and understandable manner for stakeholders
• Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data through data warehousing.
• Position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the role of Data Engineer or a similar position.
• Proficiency in Apache Kafka, Apache Pig, and Apache Spark is mandatory.
• A sound understanding of Cloud Technologies is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in Data Visualization is required.
• Ability to implement algorithms effectively is necessary.
• Strong background in Analytics is expected.
• Proficiency in Apache Hadoop is required.
• Experience in API Development is crucial.
• Familiarity with AWS Technologies is essential.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and Power BI is necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Strong skills in Data Analysis and Data Analytics are necessary.
• Experience with Data Extraction is required.
• Understanding of Data Lakes is essential.
