Job Overview:
The Data & Technology Advisor will work closely with Business Analysts to integrate claims data between operational and analytics platforms. This role is critical in supporting increased data volume for 2025, based on projections from 2024.
The position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-visibility projects within the healthcare and insurance domain, leveraging technical expertise and strategic data solutions.
WKey Responsibilities:
- Evaluate business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and data designs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to build data assets within a Snowflake-based data ecosystem.
- Drive enterprise-level solutions for complex and high-visibility business issues.
- Develop solutions utilizing varied platforms, technologies, and strategic data stores.
- Provide consultative support to business and analytics teams, including senior leadership, to understand and utilize data effectively.
- Identify data challenges and define conceptual and logical data solutions to support organizational objectives.
- Work under the guidance of senior or principal analysts in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher; or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience:
- 3 years of experience in data integration, data warehousing, cloud-based systems, operational data stores, or systems analysis.
- Advanced SQL knowledge.
- Experience with technologies such as Snowflake, AWS, XML, and JSON.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word and Excel).
Preferred:
- Healthcare or insurance experience, especially with claims and membership data.
- Experience collaborating with vendors and business partners for solution delivery.
- Strong understanding of datasets and analytical frameworks.
