We are on the lookout for a dedicated Database Administrator to join our team in the financial services industry. This role is based in Rocklin, California, offering a long term contract employment opportunity. As a Database Administrator, you will be the lead in maintaining SQL servers and related applications for our organization. You will be working in an on-prem and VMWare ecosystem, supporting work for offices both within California and out-of-state.Responsibilities:• Oversee the maintenance of SQL servers to ensure optimal performance• Set up VM systems as part of the server environment• Manage SQL 2019 and limited developer servers to meet organizational needs• Handle a collection of 3rd party applications used within the company• Perform accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications• Maintain precise customer credit records for reference and future use• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required• Utilize Microsoft Power BI and other cloud applications as part of your role• Implement backup technologies and configuration management for data safety and security.
