We are offering a contract position for an Accounts Receivable & Deductions Specialist to join our team in the Purchase, New York area. As an Accounts Receivable & Deductions Specialist, you will be tasked with managing invoices, collaborating with clients, conducting deductions, and analyzing account discrepancies. You will also be utilizing accounting software for account management and reconciliation.Responsibilities:• Execute the management of over 50 daily invoices for various client accounts.• Facilitate the collection process of past due accounts through collaboration with clients via phone calls, emails, and direct meetings.• Analyze in detail any account deductions and address discrepancies in a prompt and efficient manner.• Utilize Great Plains software for managing and reconciling accounts.• Apply deductions to payments received for collections of past due accounts and update records accordingly.• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required.• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.• Maintain accurate customer credit records.
