We are seeking a Desktop Technician to join our team in Eagan, Minnesota. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, and testing computer or computer-related equipment. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Key responsibilities: • Addressing customer inquiries and providing technical support to our team, including designers, marketing and sales departments, suppliers, and engineers.• Staying updated with the rapid advancements in computer technology to ensure efficiency in the role.• Supervising the manufacturing and installation of computer or computer-related equipment and components.• Testing and verifying hardware and support peripherals to confirm they meet specifications and requirements, this includes recording and analyzing test data.• Monitoring the functioning of equipment and making necessary modifications to ensure conformance with specifications.• Analyzing information to determine, recommend and plan layout, including type of computers and peripheral equipment modifications.• Utilizing computer software such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software, and internet directory services software.
