Responsibilities
Primary duty consists of managing YE audit. Candidate must be familiar with Government Wide vs Fund Level Audits/Financials.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive system of internal controls, policies, and procedures for all accounting functions
- Prepare detailed and accurate Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports, monthly financial statements, and other financial reports
- Coordinate and ensure the successful completion of the entity’s annual external audit
- Collaborate with IT staff to lead the implementation of accounting systems, payroll systems, or other financial modules
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal laws, regulations and filing requirements
- Communicate financial information effectively to policy makers
- Promote safety by communicating and implementing safety rules, policies, and procedures and maintain accountability for the safety performance of employees.n Interim
- Demonstrable experience with Accounting Software Systems
- Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services
- Familiarity with BlackLine software
- Knowledge of Concur application
- Experience with CRM systems
- Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
- Proven track record in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
- Experience in overseeing Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Solid experience in Auditing
- Proficiency in Budget Processes
