We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Director of Finance in LAKE DALLAS, Texas. This role is crucial to our operations as it involves leading financial strategies, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. In addition, you will be responsible for financial reporting and the development of financial policies and procedures.Responsibilities: • Act as the primary financial advisor, providing leadership and direction in financial strategies and priorities• Conduct in-depth financial and resource analysis of operations, evaluating the organization's needs and recommending resource requirements• Develop short and long-range revenue and expenditure forecasts, as well as multi-year forecast models• Monitor status reports, perform financial impact analysis, and recommend budget and planning adjustments as needed• Oversee accounting activities related to general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, along with monthly bank statement reconciliation• Ensure the quality of financial activities by verifying the accuracy of financial records• Direct external financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements and development of Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR)• Establish internal financial controls and ensure compliance with all laws, policies, and best practice standards in financial, accounting, budget, and procurement activities• Develop, monitor, and audit finance and procurement policies, practices, and procedures
