This role is integral to managing the financial health of our legal firm and supporting strategic growth, with responsibilities spanning financial planning, reporting, compliance, and analysis. Responsibilities:• Oversee the development and implementation of financial strategies that align with the firm's overall objectives• Serve as a key advisor to the executive leadership, providing actionable insights based on financial performance• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow to ensure financial stability• Prepare and present financial statements, performance metrics, and variance analyses to stakeholders• Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement by monitoring and controlling operational expenses• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including tax laws and reporting standards• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate audits and reviews• Safeguard the firm's assets by managing financial controls and mitigating risk• Lead the accounting and finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability• Work closely with partners from different practice areas to manage financial implications of specific projects• Assist in the financial due diligence of business transactions or M& A opportunities.
