About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead our financial operations, oversee a dynamic accounting team, and support strategic initiatives. This role is critical to maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance, and providing accurate reporting to drive organizational success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare financial statements, budget reports, forecasts, variance analyses, and quarterly payroll reports
- Manage daily departmental operations, including cash management
- Oversee the accounting system, fiscal records, bank reconciliations, investment pool accounts, and payroll documentation
- Partner with the Chief Financial and Operating Officer to develop the annual budget
- Coordinate annual audits, prepare audited financial statements, IRS Form 990, charitable trust returns, and related filings
- Lead trust administration for 21 charitable remainder trusts
- Collaborate with Grants and Gift Planning teams on fund administration, including gift processing, grant distributions, and reporting
- Maintain and manage the general ledger
- Train, assign tasks, evaluate, and support accounting staff
- Assist with day-to-day operations and special projects as part of the Core Team
SALARY RANGE : $85,000 - $100,000
