Responsibilities
- Prepare financial reports in a timely manner.
- Provide analytical support to division management and leadership teams.
- Optimize and align the use of key software systems with business goals.
- Coordinate efforts between operations and corporate support departments.
- Develop and implement processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Act as a liaison with corporate functions on financial and compliance matters.
- Oversee and support financial aspects including consolidation of financial reports, financial analysis, and other related financial reporting requirements.
- Advise and guide leadership teams for the strategic development and implementation of process improvement initiatives.
- Review and monitor processes/controls, advising on strengthening or modifying procedures where necessary.
- Coordinate with project management teams, field leaders, and estimators to understand and support specific project/job financial aspects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide interpretation of budget analysis, job financial health, and financial drivers to division leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Management, Construction Management (or related field). MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ practical work experience in financial planning & analysis
- Experience in preparing budgets and variance analysis
- Progressive experience in business related functions in the heavy-civil construction and/or construction materials industry preferred.
