Amanda Warren is in search of a Director of Supply Chain to be a part of a dynamic team in Sacramento, California. This role focuses on overseeing all aspects of the supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and vendor relations. You will be expected to align the supply chain functions with the organization's overall objectives, improve operational efficiency, and support company growth.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the entire supply chain functions to ensure smooth operations and efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive continuous improvement initiatives in the supply chain.
- Implement supply chain solutions that align with the business objectives and support company growth.
- Manage procurement processes to ensure the timely availability of materials and resources.
- Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize costs.
- Develop and manage relationships with vendors, ensuring quality service and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor distribution processes to guarantee timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Utilize ERP solutions and CRM tools to manage and track supply chain activities.
- Generate KPI reports to evaluate supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving inquiries and issues related to supply chain operations.
- Proven expertise in using 3M, CRM, and Eaton software tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.
- Experience in implementing ERP Solutions.
- Proficiency with About Time software.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient in KPI Reporting.
- Extensive knowledge of logistics.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management.
- Must be able to demonstrate strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as needed.
