We are in search of a Director of Supply Chain to join our team based in South Dallas, Texas. The chosen candidate will be tasked with designing and building a robust supply chain organization, developing operational frameworks, and driving strategic initiatives. This role also involves harmonizing procurement processes, optimizing costs, overseeing inventory management and logistics, and ensuring supply chain resilience across our operations.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement efficient procurement operating model and organizational structure
- Manage procurement budgets and track savings realization; develop and maintain cost reduction roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Establish future state processes and procedures for efficient sourcing and contracting, supplier performance management, and contract management
- Oversee the logistics and inventory management function
- Develop change management strategies for new processes and systems
- Implement a comprehensive supplier performance management system to monitor and evaluate supplier delivery times, quality of materials, and compliance with industry standards
- Determine job roles and build out the organization job to support initiatives and daily operations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support the overall SOP process
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through spend analysis, strategic negotiation, volume consolidation, inventory management and innovative sourcing approaches
- Lead supply chain integration with newly acquired facility operations
- The candidate must have over 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in budget processes is required.
- Familiarity with buying processes is essential.
- Expertise in supply chain logistics is necessary.
- Experience with Oracle Supply Chain Management is a must.
- Understanding of Global Supply Chain is required.
- Knowledge of Logistics & Distribution is essential.
- Experience with Manufacturing Equipment is needed.
- Familiarity with Global Strategic Sourcing is important.
- Proficiency in Supplier Management is required.
- Ability to perform Cost Optimization is necessary.
- Experience in leading Process Improvement Initiatives is essential.
- Understanding of Indirect Procurement is needed.
- Familiarity with Procurement Functions is required.
- Experience in implementing Procurement Policies is necessary.
- Knowledge of Department SOP's is essential.
- Proficiency in Excel Formulas is required.
- Experience with Organizational Change Management is necessary.
