Robert Half is hiring! We are on the lookout for a VP of Engineering focusing in the SaaS industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead teams of technical staff, manage software products, and work towards modernizing and scaling these products at an enterprise level. You will also be required to liaise with Product Teams and Leadership, uphold the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and collaborate with other departments for efficient software development processes.
Responsibilities:
Manage teams of Software Engineers, Quality Engineers, and other technical staff to architect efficient solutions to modernize and scale software products at an enterprise level.
Own a Technical Roadmap that tracks initiatives needed for the long-term health of each product and work with business leadership to prioritize this work.
Act as a technical advisor to product teams and leadership, providing insights and recommendations to align development efforts with business goals and user needs.
Ensure that all development processes adhere to the established SDLC, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
Work closely with other departments, such as product, IT, security, and operations, to ensure integrated and efficient software development processes.
Oversee talent assessment across the division ensuring alignment of staff with business objectives.
Provide guidance and mentorship to software developers and managers fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the team.
Develop and implement KPIs to continuously improve productivity and results.
Participate in critical day-to-day operational issues, remove barriers, and resolve issues.
Lead technical transformations of products that require it.
Requirements
Significant experience in the Real Estate & Property industry is essential
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to oversee operations within a real estate context
Solid understanding of Cloud Technologies and their application in a business setting
Proficiency in SAAS - Software As A Service, and its use in real estate
Excellent strategic planning and business development abilities
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in real estate
Familiarity with real estate laws and regulations
Ability to manage and lead a team effectively
Strong financial insight to drive business growth and profitability
Demonstrated experience in managing large real estate projects
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
High level of integrity and detail oriented ethics
Must be willing to travel as needed for business purposes.
