Job Description

Robert Half is hiring for a fully onsite Document Scanner for a contract opportunity mid-February through May-June(approx.) in North Huntingdon / Irwin area. Rate- $13-14 / hour.

Time- 7 : 30-3 : 30 M-F no overtime
30-minute unpaid lunch break (can leave floor)
Dress code - business casual, jeans, business causal shirt, tennis shoes permitted

The Document Scanner is a position which requires employee to use desktop scanner to image tax documents. Technical abilities helpful for utilizing machine.

Primary Job responsibilities :

Use Scanner to capture tax document images with accuracy according to specific instructions

Daily maintenance of equipment

Other office jobs as required, training will be provided (no previous tax experience required)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities :

Microsoft Office knowledge, including Outlook

Basic mechanical / technical abilities

Physical requirement necessary to perform the job :

Required to move at fast pace once trained

Ability to carry 15 lbs

Ability to sit for long periods of time

Ability to visually review documents on a small scale on the computer monitor

Prior experience in the Financial Services industry

Proven skills in Administrative Assistance

Exceptional Customer Service abilities

Proficiency in Data Entry tasks

Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word

Experience in Organizing Files in a systematic manner

Knowledge of Scanning procedures and equipment

Ability to Schedule Appointments efficiently

Familiarity with Shipping Functions

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
