Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Enterprise Architect with a proven track record of driving successful implementations of off-the-shelf solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of Enterprise Architecture frameworks, strategic thinking, and practical experience within the refinery, downstream, or oil and gas sectors. This role is critical in shaping our organization’s IT infrastructure to align with business goals, optimizing processes, and delivering efficiencies through scalable and robust third-party solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Architecture Leadership
- Develop and maintain the organization's Enterprise Architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategies and objectives.
- Provide expert guidance on how off-the-shelf solutions can be leveraged to address organizational requirements and streamline operations.
- Champion a holistic view of technologies, information systems, business operations, and processes to deliver sustainable digital transformation
Solution Evaluation and Implementation
- Lead the selection, evaluation, and implementation of off-the-shelf solutions in alignment with business needs, IT strategies, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and adoption of third-party solutions.
- Identify and mitigate architectural risks related to solution compatibility, data integration, implementation, and long-term scalability.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner closely with business leaders and teams to translate functional requirements into actionable technical architectures.
- Advocate for Enterprise Architecture principles, promoting consensus and informed decision-making across the enterprise.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, offering actionable recommendations for immediate and long-term technological improvements.
Domain Expertise: Refinery/Downstream/Oil & Gas
- Leverage industry-specific knowledge to address unique challenges and optimize technology stacks to align with refinery and downstream operations.
- Support initiatives such as asset management, predictive maintenance, supply chain optimization, and regulatory compliance through well-architected solutions.
Continuous Improvement
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends within the oil and gas industry to introduce innovative, off-the-shelf solutions that drive transformation and competitiveness.
- Identify opportunities for process optimizations, cost reductions, and improved system efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 10 years of professional IT experience, with demonstrated expertise in Enterprise Architecture roles and a focus on deploying off-the-shelf solutions. Experience in the refinery, downstream, or oil and gas sectors is highly preferred.
- Certifications: TOGAF, Zachman, ITIL certifications, or equivalent architecture credentials are highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and tools.
- Experience with ERP, MES, and other off-the-shelf business solutions targeted for oil and gas or downstream industries (Ex: SAP, Oracle, OSIsoft PI, Aveva).
