This role involves a variety of accounting tasks, with a focus on accounts payable operations, but will also include exposure to accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end procedures. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the financial aspects of our business.Responsibilities:• Accurately enter invoice data into the computer system across all departments throughout the month• Conduct weekly check runs• Perform general ledger reconciliation tasks on a monthly basis• Digitally scan, print, and file invoices and other documents related to assigned functions• Reconcile intercompany payable, issue checks, and clear payable invoices• Collaborate with various company staff to exchange information, clarify procedures, and address and solve problems• Monitor vendor accounts to prevent them from becoming overdue, which may include problem research• Reconcile vendor statements on a monthly basis• Assist the department with other tasks as required.
