A regional full- service law firm in Seattle is seeking an experienced Enviromental & Land Use Attorney to join their team. The salary range is 145k-180k base with additional bonus earnings based on a billable of 1800 annually. Benefits include full medical, dental and vision insurance, 401K match , HSA, Transportation FSA, 18 PTO days to start accrued annually, 1 floating holiday and a transit subsidy $80.Responsibilities:• Draft, review, and revise legal documents • Advise clients on their legal rights and develop strategies for defending and litigating cases• Gather evidence in cases to formulate a defense or initiate legal action• Conduct research, interview clients and witnesses, and handle other details in preparation for trial• Prepare legal briefs and develop strategies, arguments, and testimony in preparation for the presentation of cases• Represent clients in court and before quasi-judicial or administrative agencies of government• Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses• Confer with colleagues with specialty in the area of lawsuits to establish and verify the basis for legal proceedings• Communicate and maintain relationships with experts in preparing opinions and required reports, preparing experts for deposition and trial, and defending experts in depositions• Prepare responses to written discovery requests, draft objections and designations of prior testimony in response to notices of deposition of client witnesses, and prepare and defend clients during corporate depositions.
Salary : $145,000 - $180,000
