We are providing a long term contract employment opportunity for a Business Management Specialist in Tallahassee, Florida, United States. This role is pivotal within our team, functioning as the main communication line for the Bureau of Business Solutions. Responsibilities:• Spearheading the establishment, management, and maintenance of strategic relationships with both internal and external customers across various business segments.• Taking charge of daily operations and providing comprehensive administrative support to the assigned IT functional area.• Assisting in the annual business plan preparation for the specified IT functional area.• Playing a key role in managing annual expense budgets, ensuring proper accounting and budgeting controls are in place.• Inputting financial data accurately into the designated tracking system.• Preparing regular and ad-hoc financial status reports.• Crafting reports, presentations, and articles for the benefit of internal management and external vendors.• Responding to basic inquiries and concerns from the business areas, ensuring effective communication.• Serving as the liaison between IT technical teams, resource managers, and human resources to coordinate and execute effective IT talent management activities.• Acting as the bridge between enterprise and end-users, external vendors, contractors, and consultants to define and establish service and support requirements.• Participating in the development, implementation, and maintenance of communication strategies and plans for IT.• Consistently engaging with functional groups within IT to communicate and clarify customer requirements.• Investigating and resolving issues related to customer relationships.• Assisting with organizational change management.• Carrying out other duties as assigned.
