We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented network/cable technician to become the Field Operations Manager (still hands on) and oversee the installation, maintenance, and management of network infrastructure, including CAT 6 and COAX cabling, Wi-Fi systems, and physical security networks. The ideal candidate will lead a team of technicians, ensuring all cable installations, repairs, and upgrades meet industry standards while coordinating project workflows effectively. Familiarity with CAD tools for network design and documentation is essential. Being able to travel with notice is needed!!

Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of WiFi and security camera networks
- Troubleshoot PC issues and resolve customer inquiries promptly
- Implement pre-installation designs and decide on the placement of equipment
- Determine the switches and ports locations, ensuring optimal network performance
- Ensure Access Points (AP's) are appropriately placed within the rooms
- Lead the team in the installation of Coax and CAD 6 cables
- Utilize skills in Broadband, Data Networks, BluePrint, and IPTV
- Handle low voltage cabling tasks while ensuring adherence to safety standards
- Collaborate with technology providers like Positron for data transmission over TV coax
- Use your decision-making skills to manage operations autonomously and efficiently.
- Proven experience in the field of Cable and Networking, with at least 3 years functioning in a managerial role.
- Proficient in Broadband, Data Networks, and BluePrint.
- Solid experience in Cable Installation and Cable Television.
- Excellent knowledge of Cabling, specifically Ethernet cabling and Low Voltage Cabling.
- Experience with IPTV would be a nice to have.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and coordinate field operations effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A valid driver's license is essential as the role may require travel to different sites.
