We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst in Chicago, Illinois. This role has a primary focus on supporting and enhancing financial operations within our organization. The Financial Analyst will be instrumental in budget preparation, financial modeling, and data analysis to support strategic decision-making.Responsibilities:• Facilitate the creation of annual budgets, forecasts, and extensive financial strategies for various departments and business units, consolidating these into a comprehensive forecast.• Monitor and document revenue and operating results, as well as expenses, per department and cost centers.• Design and uphold financial models to support different business units and projects.• Examine financial data to detect trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.• Work closely with teams across the organization to collect necessary information for financial analysis.• Contribute to the monthly financial reporting process, specifically in variance analysis and management reporting.• Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and generate reports to aid in decision-making, tailoring to the needs of the organization's leadership.• Partake in the assessment of new and existing projects, investments, and assets to appraise their value and validity.• Continually enhance financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
