We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst in Medina, Ohio. You'll be part of a team supporting accounting and finance functions, and will have a chance to work closely with various departments.
Responsibilities :
- Participate in general accounting operations and finance projects, embodying the role of a "utility" player.
- Drive changes and training of key individuals through the review of financial systems and processes.
- Manage intercompany activities, which include accounting, billing, and collections.
- Engage in the month-end close process, preparing appropriate journal entries and accrivals, completing account reconciliations, and collaborating with the Accounting Manager and Sr. Accountant.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
- Assist in the management of internal controls.
- Take part in financial and other audits.
- Get involved in the annual budget process.
- Provide support for the annual Physical Inventory.
- Carry out miscellaneous closing duties, including the analysis of financials and other ad-hoc tasks.
- Position : Financial Analyst
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
- Knowledge of Data Mining Techniques
- Mastery of Accounting Functions
- Experience in Auditing
- Familiarity with Budget Processes
- Experience in conducting Annual Inventory
- Proven skills in Account Reconciliation
- Proficiency in creating Journal Entries
- Experience in Billing and Collections
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel
