The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership.
Responsibilities
• Guide and support the process of building the Annual Operating Plan and Budget Plan. Focusing on company’s strategic planning .
• Monthly and quarterly management and financial reporting. Balance sheet, profit and loss, statement of cashflows, and working capital needs.
• Analyze monthly results regarding production costs, contribution margin, fixed vs variable expenses.
• Reporting of actual results vs budgeted results. Variance analysis for root causes and corrective action plans.
• Prepare dashboards for management.
• Report and monitor key performance indicators. Analyze variances between actual vs established goals. Provide information to help achieve established plans.
• Forecasting for immediate decisions, medium-term for tactical decisions and long- term forecasting for strategic planning.
• Continuously improve the process of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and modeling. Support other company departments and corporate parent. Ad hoc projects.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather data and provide financial reporting support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or equivalent experience
- 3 years' financial analysis and modeling experience
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
