Job Description:• Lead monthly and quarterly financial reporting and analysis, including variance and profitability analysis, and produce comprehensive management and board reporting packages. Present written analysis to articulate key drivers, trends, and insights. • Develop and maintain annual budget and rolling forecast models, ensuring alignment with operational and financial goals. Regularly track and assess project performance and communicate results effectively to key stakeholders, including senior leadership and the Board of Directors. Operational Performance & Metrics Analysis: • Conduct detailed analysis of operational drivers that impact company margin, including sales, contribution margins, operational expenses (OPEX), and delivery metrics (e.g., service tickets, labor hours, project timelines). • Provide root cause analysis and present findings and actionable insights to leadership to drive business improvements. Process Improvement & System Integration: • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of financial planning processes, systems, and tools, including business intelligence solutions. • Take a proactive role in leading process improvement initiatives and system enhancements, including the integration of any new forecasting tools into the business operations. Strategic Financial Modeling & Cross-Functional Collaboration: • Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, including customer pricing, labor staffing, and cost optimization. • Work closely with cross-functional teams across operations, sales, and leadership to ensure financial insights are integrated into business strategies and build strong working relationships with stakeholders to foster a collaborative environment. Team Leadership & Development • Lead and mentor 1 Financial Analyst, providing training on financial reporting and analysis while fostering a collaborative team environment. • Provide hands-on leadership to promote continuous learning and deepen financial acumen. • Balance day-to-day execution with leadership responsibilities, ensuring the Analyst's success while maintaining your own individual deliverables.
