Our client has an immediate opening for a SEC & Financial Reporting Manager. This position will oversee all SEC reporting matters. The position works interactively with the Company's Accounting team, who have primary responsibility for the preparation and management of the consolidated financial statements.
Responsibilities
- Managing the preparation, analysis and reporting of the Company’s financial and operating results to ensure financial information is accurate and relevant to internal decision-making processes.
- Lead the preparation and filing of all SEC financial reports (not limited to, but including Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, Form 8-K and proxy statements)
- Lead the preparation of work papers supporting SEC financial filings requirements including financial statements, footnote disclosures, MD&A, etc.
- Prepare quarterly earnings releases
- Coordinate with the Company’s external auditors to schedule their fieldwork and information needs and to communicate financial reporting issues to the audit firm’s satisfaction.
- Create and maintain our SEC calendar to inform parties of necessary deadlines
- Prepare communications for the quarterly Disclosure Committee and Audit Committee
- Coordinate, assist, develop and update written policies and procedures over the financial reporting process
- Develop, maintain and strengthen internal controls over the financial reporting process
- Collaborate with business operators and FP&A Group to understand budget implications and implement planning strategy
- Develop processes to assist in the integration of external and internal reporting to avoid duplication of efforts
Requirements
- Bachelors in Accounting or Business Administration with an Accounting focus
- 5 years of financial accounting experience with a public accounting firm and/or industry experience; SEC experience required, Big 4 Firm a plus
- Licensed CPA (Required) with demonstrated and proven success in application of US GAAP, financial analysis, and SEC financial reporting
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
