We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client located in Mandeville, Louisiana. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all facets of bookkeeping, from processing transactions to preparing financial reports. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Establish and implement bookkeeping policies and procedures, while also creating a systematic approach to account for financial transactions• Verify, allocate, and post transactions to maintain accounts• Reconcile entries to balance accounts• Oversee and balance the general ledger• File documents to keep quality historical records• Collect, analyze, and summarize account information to prepare financial reports• Review payments received, record deposits, and create Accounts Receivable invoices• Conduct bank reconciliations and cash flow analysis• Utilize accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel to execute accounting functions and manage annual budgets• Handle both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations
