We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Moline, Illinois. In this role, you will be tasked with managing multiple billing platforms, ensuring accurate reporting and processing transactions. Your primary function will be to maintain customer credit records accurately and to liaise with internal teams to facilitate efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Accurate and efficient processing of accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) transactions.
- Handling of general ledger entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
- Management of billing operations across multiple platforms, ensuring that customers are invoiced promptly and accurately.
- Researching and resolving discrepancies related to billing and payment transactions.
- Streamlining processes to enhance the efficiency of the billing system.
- Regular reconciliation of bank accounts, credit card statements, and vendor accounts.
- Support in the month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Collaborating with accountants regularly to discuss financials.
- Communicating financial updates and billing queries with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Utilizing Microsoft Excel and other accounting functions to manage and analyze data.
- Conducting cash flow analysis and account reconciliations.
- Overseeing general ledger and processing biweekly payroll.
- Managing month-end close and billing collection processes.
- Utilizing social media platforms for business purposes.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
- Proven experience with Accounting Functions.
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online
- Experience in Account Reconciliation.
- Expertise in Bank Reconciliations.
- Familiarity with General Ledger management.
- Ability to Process Biweekly Payroll.
- Experience with Month End Close procedures.
- Competence in Billing operations.
- Experience with Billing Collection.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Social Media.
