We are seeking a Grants and Community Liaison to join our team in Rochester, New York. This role centers around securing funding and fostering community relationships for a great non-profit organization!
Responsibilities :
- Identifying and researching grant opportunities that align with our mission and programs
- Drafting, submitting, and managing grant proposals while ensuring compliance with all deadlines and stipulations
- Keeping detailed records of all grant activities, including application statuses, reporting obligations, and funding results
- Assisting in the stewardship of donors and the nurturing of long-term relationships with funding partners
- Collaborating with our team to devise innovative strategies for resource acquisition and engagement
- Engaging in community outreach and events to bolster our presence and partnerships within the community
- Utilizing knowledge of local community resources and stakeholders to further our mission.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Grant Writing, with a track record of successfully securing funding for projects or organizations.
- Proven experience in Community Engagement, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse community groups.
- Experience in planning, organizing, and executing Community Events, ensuring they meet goals and exceed expectations.
- Strong background in Community Outreach, with skills in identifying community needs and implementing effective outreach strategies.
- Excellent Community Relations skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage conflicts, build consensus, and foster positive relationships within the community
