Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst in our manufacturing unit located in Mattoon, Illinois. As a Help Desk Analyst, your primary function will be to handle the day-to-day operations of the IT Service Desk, ensuring that service delivery and customer satisfaction exceed published service level agreements.
Responsibilities:
Prioritize and troubleshoot end user support tickets, performing root-cause analysis and issue resolution, reporting key performance indicators to the management team
Provide daily support to the team, assisting with hardware issues including printer maintenance, toner replacement, and scan gun resets on the warehouse floor
Oversee password resets, imaging, and Active Directory operations
Offer end user support across all virtual and physical machines, maintaining up-to-date hardware/software on all end user machines and network hardware, according to update schedule
Respond to customer inquiries through deskside, phone, email, or chat via a popular team collaboration software
Ensure accurate processing and maintenance of customer applications and records
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
Requirements
Proficiency in Active Directory management and operations
Extensive knowledge and experience with Computer Hardware
Proven ability in Deployments, including software and hardware installations
Excellent Customer Service skills with a focus on Superior Customer Service
Experience in Password Changes and Password Reset procedures
Ability to operate and troubleshoot Color Printer issues
Expertise in Hardware Troubleshooting, including peripheral devices
Basic Network Troubleshooting skills, with a focus on connectivity and performance issues
Familiarity with Remote access VPNs, including setup and troubleshooting
Experience in Computer Imaging and Desktop Imaging processes
