The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical billing, claims submission, and insurance rules and regulations with a track record of resolving complex billing issues.Responsibilities:Review and ensure accuracy of hospital UB04 forms before submission to insurance companies.Handle insurance denials, appeals, and ensure timely resubmission of claims.Collaborate with patients and insurance companies to streamline operations and minimize denials.Maintain updated records of billing activity in system with complete patient information.Follow-up on outstanding account balances.Oversee the entire billing process, from patient admission to discharge.Develop and implement strategies to increase the number of successful claims.
