We are offering an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist in the manufacturing industry, based in Farmington Hills. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for various HR functions including payroll processing, timekeeping, benefits administration, and HR accounting. You will also be tasked with maintaining detail-oriented and technical knowledge in the field of Human Resources.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, adhering to IRS regulations and maintaining comprehensive employee records
- Handle employee timesheets, accurately documenting time off and overtime
- Administer employee benefit plans, ensuring prompt enrollment and contributions, processing administrative requests, and maintaining thorough records
- Perform accounting tasks for the Human Resource Department, including creating invoices within the company accounting system and generating necessary reports
- Maintain detail-oriented and technical knowledge by attending human resource seminars and workshops
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Human Resource Manager, understanding that job duties may alter from time to time without prior notice.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a HR Generalist role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services for HR-related tasks
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now is mandatory
- Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is essential
- Proficiency in using Ceridian HR software
- Experience with Dayforce for HR management
- Demonstrated ability to handle benefit functions effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of Compliance regulations and procedures within the Manufacturing industry
- Proven track record in managing effective Employee Relations
- Experience in handling Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) related matters.
