We are offering a contract opportunity for an In-House Paralegal in the utilities/infrastructure industry. This role is onsite with a future hybrid potential in Chino, California. The selected candidate will be expected to provide comprehensive legal assistance, primarily focusing on litigation support. The role involves working with, subpoenas, pleadings, pre-trial motions, as well as partnering with outside counsel for specialized needs. Additionally, this candidate will support contract review, redlining, and drafting, compliance and other legal functions.Responsibilities:• Assisting with the preparation and processing of legal documents related to litigation• Utilizing Case Management Software to maintain accurate records of all legal activities• Managing calendars to ensure all legal deadlines are met in a timely manner• Offering support in briefing and preparing for trial• Collaborating with outside counsel on specialized legal needs• Administering claims and ensuring all relevant documentation is correctly filed• Working on PRAS and preparing subpoenas, pleadings, and pre-trial motions• Utilizing Adobe Acrobat and CompuLaw in the execution of tasks• Providing comprehensive support in the execution of billing functions• Ensuring effective communication across all levels within the organization.
