Position: Insurance Follow-Up Specialist (Temp-to-Hire) Location: Oklahoma City, OK Pay Rate: $16–$17 per hour Work Type: 100% Onsite Bonus: Monthly bonus potential upon conversion to a permanent roleWhat You’ll Do:Monitor and follow up on open insurance claims to ensure timely resolution and payment.Review rental agreements and claim files to validate insurance coverage and billing accuracy.Contact insurance companies, customers, and internal departments to gather missing information or resolve discrepancies.Determine whether information should be added to an existing file, referred to a Third Party Administrator, or used to open a new claim.Accurately document all follow-up and collection activity in claim management systems.Handle incoming calls and written correspondence regarding insurance billing, collections, adjustments, and disputes.Ensure accurate and timely billing for all applicable accounts.Meet or exceed individual performance targets, including collection goals and aging guidelines.Maintain portfolio aging and escalate accounts where financial instability or dispute arises.Demonstrate professionalism in all communications, focusing on customer satisfaction and resolution.Develop and maintain a structured follow-up process for account reviews and outreach.Coordinate with Customer Relations and other departments to address sensitive account issues.Respond to inquiries within 24 hours to maintain exceptional service levels.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
