Intake/Billing Specialist

We are seeking an Intake/Billing Specialist to become a part of our team in Laguna Hills, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing patient information intake and providing billing services . This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.Responsibilities:• Carry out data entry tasks related to patient billing, prioritizing accuracy and timeliness• Adhere to medical and personal information security regulations to maintain patient record confidentiality• Work closely with lab and clinical personnel to rectify any discrepancies within patient records or data• Stay updated with billing regulations and practices, especially those specific to laboratory services• Gain a comprehensive understanding of our company's accessioning procedures and protocols• Regularly participate in quality control measurements to ensure absolute accuracy in data entry• Resolve any issues related to billing and data entry• Provide necessary training to other staff members as required
