As an IT Systems Integrator/Developer, you will be under the direction of the IT Manager-Applications. This position manages and maintains business-specific applications, including testing, scheduling, deployment, and support of application patches and upgrades.
Essential Job Functions
- Review business process needs and application functionality to identify features that could improve user experience or process efficiencies.
- Works with business stakeholders and users to identify new application requirements and source applications to meet them. Works with businesses to identify reporting requirements and integrate them.
- Provides vendor management and support escalations and follows through on problem resolution.
- Assumes the role of Subject Matter Expert (SME) on a set of 3rd party applications supporting the entire lifecycle of the applications. Collects requirements and performs analysis on 3rd party solutions for internal business. Analyze the current applications to identify features that provide opportunities for improvements.
- Maintains applications based on vendor direction and business needs (patch application, major upgrades including staging, pre-testing, and deployment)
- Works as a liaison with 3rd party application support teams for issue creation, management, escalation, and completion. Provides customer support. Participates in the evaluation and selection process for application packages. Tracks and manages reviewing end-user, security, performance, and interoperability requirements. Creates statistical and informational reports for business purposes.
- All other duties as assigned by a supervisor/manager within your department/division.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related discipline, or the equivalent in experience.
ERP System Support Experience
- Strong proficiency in supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (Lawson/Infor preferred but not required).
Application Maintenance & Lifecycle Management
- Experience with patching, upgrading, testing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise applications.
Database & Development Skills
- MS SQL Server (for querying, reporting, and database maintenance).
- C# (likely for custom integrations, scripting, or application support).
- IIS (Internet Information Services) (for managing application hosting and web services).
IT Service Management & Best Practices
- Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM (for managing incidents, changes, and service delivery).
Third-Party Application & Vendor Management
- Experience working with third-party applications, managing vendor escalations, and handling issue resolution.
Business Process & Reporting Support
- Ability to analyze business needs, identify application features for process improvement, and support reporting requirements.
