We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Investment Fund Paralegal to join our team in NAPERVILLE, Illinois. In this role, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including maintaining accurate records, processing customer applications, and resolving customer inquiries. This role is within the financial services industry.Responsibilities:• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner• Maintain meticulous records of customer credit• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries efficiently• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as necessary• Provide paralegal support to all investment management-related areas of the firm• Assist with various projects within the Legal Department as needed, such as corporate, investment adviser, private fund, global fund, and real estate projects• Draft and file SEC regulatory filings, including registration statements on Forms N-1A and N-2• Coordinate Board of Trustees meetings, including drafting meeting agendas, materials, resolutions, and minutes• Serve as a liaison between the Legal Department and other departments, as well as outside service providers and legal counsel• Review and complete RFPs and DDQs, and assist with various agreements related to the firm’s Investment Company Act-registered pooled investment vehicles• Conduct legal research on various topics as needed.
