We are in search of an IT Manager to join our client's team in Ripon, Wisconsin. The role involves managing IT systems and infrastructure to support manufacturing processes and distribution offices. The successful candidate will lead a team of IT professionals and closely collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs, implement solutions, and optimize IT operations to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the maintenance of our IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and communication systems.
• Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of IT systems to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
• Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to meet the organization's evolving needs.
• Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including helpdesk administrators, and collaborate with manufacturing engineers and support staff.
• Set clear goals and objectives for the IT team, monitor performance, and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors, service providers, and contractors to ensure the timely delivery of IT services and support.
• Enforce IT security policies, procedures, and best practices to protect sensitive data and systems from internal and external threats.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards through regular audits and assessments.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to streamline IT operations and enhance overall efficiency.
• Lead projects to upgrade existing systems, deploy new technologies, and implement best-in-class IT solutions.
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in an IT managerial role, ideally in the Manufacturing industry.
