Jenny Bour with Robert Half is working with a company that is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join their team! The Leasing Consultant role involves managing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and addressing customer inquiries in a timely manner. As the Leasing Consultant you will also be responsible for showing apartments, building rapport with prospective residents, and with providing top-tier customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the leasing process by presenting the community according to the established image and in compliance with all Fair Housing Guidelines.
- Foster positive relationships with prospective residents using knowledge of property and community to adapt sales approach to each prospect and their specific needs.
- Handle the management of seasonal waiting lists and obtain commitment to lease from prospects.
- Collaborate with maintenance to prioritize work orders that may require immediate action.
- Carry out data entry into software necessary for tracking prospects, work orders, parking permits, and building access.
- Contribute to the review and completion of the current Market Survey as needed.
- Engage in online training for all programs as required by management and provide feedback and suggestions on current marketing and advertising strategy to supervisor.
- Ensure prompt and courteous response to incoming calls and forward to the appropriate staff member.
- Answer general questions and forward concerns from residents or prospects professionally.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in leasing, customer service, or administrative.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with tenants and property owners.
- Excellent customer service and sales skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good computer skills and experience working in Microsoft Word and Excel.
