This legal assistant will be responsible for:State, federal, and appellate court filings (the firm will train if a legal assistant has only filed in state or federal court)CalendaringFormatting documents - TOA/TOC, motions, pleadings, etc.SubpoenasAssisting with discoveryTrial prep - preparing binders, lists of witnesses and exhibits, etc.ResearchCommunicating with clientsThe firm is offering this legal assistant the permanent flexibility to work remotely on Monday and Friday after the initial training period.
